On July 12, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Hue University (HU) held a ceremony to announce two training programs including microchip design technology and electrical and electronic engineering technology.
Attending the announcement ceremony were representatives of the Hue City People's Committee, departments, branches and enterprises operating in the high-tech field; experts, lecturers and students of the faculty.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quang Lich, Head of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Hue University, said that this is an important milestone, demonstrating the faculty's determination to innovate, integrate and pioneer in training high-quality technical human resources, meeting the country's development needs in the digital age.
The training program in microchip design technology has two majors: digital microchip design - testing and microchip evaluation, which has been built by experts and engineers from Marvell Company and the faculty's teaching staff; aiming to train engineers capable of designing, simulating, testing microchip systems and deeply understanding the architecture and structure of microchips.
The electrical and electronic engineering technology training program has been upgraded and redesigned in a practical and applied direction, closely linked to the actual needs of businesses in the fields of energy optimization, automation, industrial electronics and intelligent control systems, embedded programming to meet the training of specialized engineering human resources.
Mr. Lich affirmed that these programs have been built according to international standards, referencing programs from leading universities in the region, with the direct participation of industry experts and leading technology enterprises operating in Vietnam.
"Students will learn through project models, gain practical experience in modern labs and participate in internships at businesses from the second year according to the 4-4-2 training model that has been put into operation by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology over the past 5 years," said Mr. Lich.

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Hue University also shared with future students: "You will study in a modern, dynamic environment, connected to businesses. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, congratulated and highly appreciated the efforts of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. According to Mr. Binh, this result is highly practical, connecting businesses, aiming at the real needs of the technology labor market in the labor segment of the microchip and semiconductor industry.
Mr. Binh affirmed that Hue City will continue to accompany Hue University to bring these programs to practical effectiveness soon to soon provide high-quality human resources for the microchip and semiconductor industry.
