Retired police officers visit Luong Hoa Lac Commune Party Committee

(ABO) A delegation of retired police officers led by Lieutenant General, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Nguyen Viet Thanh, former Deputy Director of the General Department of Police, former Deputy Chief of Office of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption, former Director of Tien Giang Provincial Police (now Dong Thap Province), together with former leaders of the Party Committee, leaders of the People's Committee of Luong Hoa Lac Commune, former leaders of professional units in the Tien Giang Provincial Police who were previously living in Luong Hoa Lac Commune, visited and toured the workplace of the Party Committee, People's Committee and Luong Hoa Lac Commune Police after the merger.

Lieutenant General, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Nguyen Viet Thanh visited cadres working in Luong Hoa Lac commune.

The leaders of Luong Hoa Lac commune informed the delegation about the operation situation, personnel arrangement after merging communes to establish the new Luong Hoa Lac commune and implementing the operation of the grassroots government in Luong Hoa Lac commune. Accordingly, the locality has completed the apparatus, arranged a stable organization, improved the quality of cadres, met the requirements of management and serving the people in the new period.

Lieutenant General, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Nguyen Viet Thanh visited police officers and soldiers working in Luong Hoa Lac commune.

Speaking at the visit, the representative of the Retired Police Officers Delegation expressed his joy at the positive changes in the scientific and reasonable personnel arrangement of Luong Hoa Lac commune; at the same time, he affirmed that the merger of communes and the establishment of a 2-level local government is necessary and consistent with the current trend of state management innovation. In addition, the implementation of a 2-level local government will contribute to increasing the initiative, clarity of functions and tasks and improving the efficiency of serving the people. The Delegation also hopes that the local government will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, listen to the people's opinions, thereby proposing many measures and solutions to promote socio-economic development and bring many benefits to the people.
