Volunteers also formed a team to “go to the place and provide support at home” for the elderly, the disabled or families who cannot come to the ward’s public administration center by themselves. Many visual materials such as infographics, videos , and manuals have been distributed by young people to residential areas. In addition, “Digital Skills Classes” have also been organized to guide people on how to use computers and smartphones safely.
In the process of the whole country vigorously implementing the 2-level local government model, not only do we need specific policies from the top down, but in reality, we also need “extended arms” from the grassroots. And, among them, young volunteers are the most vivid image of the spirit of dedication and responsibility to the community.
