At the launching ceremony, 4 households in Quang Lac village, D'ran commune ( Lam Dong province) were supported to build new houses, they were the households that suffered the most severe damage to their houses in the flood that occurred in November 2025.

On behalf of the households receiving support this time, Mr. Tran Van Phu shared: "This is a great source of encouragement for our family to stabilize their mentality and gradually overcome difficulties."

In the recent flood, Lam Dong province had 229 houses damaged, of which 23 houses were completely collapsed and needed to be rebuilt, and 206 houses were damaged and needed to be repaired. Lam Dong province aims to complete the repair of damaged houses by December 20 and build new houses for collapsed households by January 15, 2026.

Working with the leaders of Lam Dong province, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh praised and highly appreciated the proactiveness and urgency of Lam Dong province in preventing and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh requested to carry out well the key tasks: taking care of the lives of people in flood-affected areas, along with building new houses and repairing damaged houses, the government must take care of food, accommodation, and daily living needs of the people, not letting people suffer from deprivation, hunger, or cold, and not letting any student have to drop out of school due to difficulties.
Regarding transport infrastructure and production, the Deputy Prime Minister requested Lam Dong to continue to handle the environment, improve the ground and land, support seeds, seedlings, fertilizers, labor... to help people restore production.
