The event is a highlight in a series of cultural activities aimed at honoring and preserving the traditional Xoe dance art of the Thai ethnic group in the province.

This year's competition brought together 8 teams with nearly 800 artisans and amateur performers from various neighborhoods and villages. Each team presented elaborately staged performances, blending the graceful and rhythmic movements of traditional Xoe dance with a modern, creative flair, creating an artistic tableau that was both familiar and fresh.

According to the organizers, the competition entries were judged based on the precision of each movement, the synchronization of the formation, the meticulous preparation of traditional costumes, and the spirit of unity and camaraderie among the teams.
The competition, held from April 28th to 30th, was not only an opportunity for teams to interact and learn from each other, but also contributed to promoting the cultural beauty and people of Nghia Lo to a wide range of tourists.

Right from the opening night, Golden Field Square became a vibrant gathering place, attracting a large number of locals and tourists to enjoy the festivities. The dazzling, lively circle dances accompanied by music created a warm festive atmosphere, promising a culturally rich holiday and further spreading the value of intangible cultural heritage to the community.
