
The contest was organized by the Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Ho Chi Minh City in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City and related departments and agencies. This year, the contest attracted 16 units and groups with more than 131 individuals participating with 52 performances including genres: solo, duet, group singing, solo, dance... especially sign language dance performances. The content of the performances aimed to praise the homeland, national solidarity, military-civilian solidarity, and introduce cultural values typical of regions across the country...
Through the organization, the contest contributes to raising awareness of all levels, sectors and the social community about the ability of people with disabilities to contribute to cultural life; at the same time, making the social community sympathize, share, respect and honor the talents of people with disabilities.


Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, President of the Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans in Ho Chi Minh City, shared: “The number of participants speaks to the talent and rich cultural and spiritual life of people with disabilities. The performances will bring wonderful experiences from the most special people. Through the preliminary round, the judges and organizers will select the best performances to participate in the regional competition on May 26 in Ho Chi Minh City.”
