This is the first year that the Vietnam Summer Camp opens in Buon Ma Thuot - the land that opened the victory of the Central Highlands Campaign, creating an important historical turning point for the Great Spring Victory of 1975, completely liberating the South and unifying the country. The delegates were able to visit the Central Highlands with its unique culture and the lives of the ethnic minorities; and at the same time witness the strong growth of this land.
The theme and activities of this year's Summer Camp aim to commemorate and honor the country's important historical milestones: the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding, the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, the reunification of the country and the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2.
