Opening of the photo exhibition 80 years of August Revolution and National Day September 2

On the morning of August 19, Ho Chi Minh City opened a photo exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The exhibition with the theme "From the era of independence and national unification to the era of national growth" is held at 3 locations: Nguyen Hue walking street, Dong Khoi street (in front of the Department of Culture - Sports and opposite Chi Lang Park).

At Nguyen Hue walking street, the Organizing Committee displayed more than 100 photos with the theme: "From the era of independence and national unification to the era of national rise". The photo series summarizes the development of the August Revolution in 1945 and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in the history of the struggle to build and defend the country.

People can visit the exhibition at 3 locations including Nguyen Hue Street and 2 areas of Dong Khoi Street (photo: VH)

On Dong Khoi Street (in front of the Department of Culture and Sports), the exhibition with the theme "Ho Chi Minh City confidently moves towards a new era" includes 70 photos introducing Ho Chi Minh City including Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces entering a new era, marked by major changes in scale, development orientation and strategic vision towards the goal of becoming a megacity, an important growth pole of the country and the region.

Opposite Chi Lang Park is an art exhibition with the theme “Colors of culture and tourism in Ho Chi Minh City” with beautiful moments of nature, people, cultural and historical relics, architectural art, sea tourism… of the new Ho Chi Minh City.

The exhibition runs until September 5.
