Opening of Binh Thuan Tourism Week 2024

NDO – On the morning of October 24, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province held the opening ceremony of the Fair to display and promote tourism products, cuisine, regional specialties, OCOP products of Binh Thuan and other provinces and cities nationwide, taking place from October 24-27 at the Bikini Beach NovaWorld Phan Thiet Square (Tien Thanh commune, Phan Thiet city), bringing rich experiences of culture, art and cuisine.

This is an activity within the framework of celebrating the 29th anniversary of Binh Thuan Tourism Day (October 24, 1995 - October 24, 2024).

At Bikini Beach Square, a series of unique art programs take place, from folk art troupes in the province and regions across the country.

Traditional dance and singing performances and performances of traditional musical instruments not only recreate unique cultural values, but also create a diverse cultural exchange space, highlighting the richness of Vietnam's cultural heritage in general and Binh Thuan in particular.

The highlight of the event is the Tourism, Trade and Food Fair with the participation of more than 50 booths from Binh Thuan and neighboring provinces and cities.

At the contest, Binh Thuan Professional Chefs Association organized an introduction and demonstration of cooking Hotpot dish.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Records Institute will organize the announcement and award the Asian Record certificate for Phan Thiet Hotpot dish and honor the Golden Chef of the province in 2024.

In addition, within the framework of the event, the "Binh Thuan Delicious Dishes" contest also took place on October 26 with 29 teams from all over competing.

Through this event, investors will have the opportunity to learn more about the great potential of Binh Thuan tourism, from large-scale multi-utility urban tourism projects to eco-tourism and community tourism models.

In addition, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province also coordinated with the Dong Nai Tourism Association to organize the Dong Nai Tourism Promotion Conference in Binh Thuan on the morning of October 25 at the NovaWorld Phan Thiet Regional Hall.

At the Conference, the Tourism Association and tourism businesses of the two provinces of Binh Thuan and Dong Nai will exchange, discuss, and sign a cooperation program to develop tourism, connect tours to bring tourists from Dong Nai to Binh Thuan and vice versa.
