Attending the ceremony were Party Central Committee members: Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association ; Nguyen Hong Dien, Minister of Industry and Trade, President of the Vietnam National Brand Council.

Also attending were leaders of central ministries, departments and branches; leaders of departments, divisions and units of Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Ministry of Industry and Trade ; leaders of central press agencies; leaders of associations and enterprises with products achieving National Brand status; and representatives of news agencies and newspapers.

Vietnam National Brand is a unique, long-term and specific trade promotion program of the Government on building and developing national brands through product brands, approved by the Prime Minister since 2003, assigned to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with ministries and branches to implement.

The National Brand page is implemented by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to raise social awareness of the role, significance and necessity of building, protecting and developing brands in production, business and investment activities; to propagate and promote the Vietnam National Brand Program and Vietnam National Brand products, aiming to build the image of Vietnam as a country with prestige in high-quality goods and services, contributing to the development of foreign trade and improving national competitiveness.

Prestigious search channel for Vietnam National Brands

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, said that currently, many Vietnamese brands have reached world stature such as Viettel, Vinamilk... However, building, developing and protecting brands is still a weakness of domestic enterprises.

The National Brand page on Nhan Dan Newspaper - the central agency of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and one of the six main multimedia press agencies of the country - with comprehensive and transparent information about each enterprise and product will be a very reputable search channel at home and abroad.

The National Brand page includes 4 main sections: Brand, Enterprise, News, Multimedia. Readers can look up and learn in detail about business product brands by industry, field, year of achieving National Brand...; special photo and video collections about the production process, building products achieving National Brand.

The site also has content and topics aimed at protecting brands and building the image of Vietnam as a country with a reputation for high-quality goods and services.

The highlight of the National Brand page is that each enterprise with a product achieving the National Brand will have its own page, designed in a modern, highly interactive way.

Each business's own page includes: Business information: Introducing the logo, detailed information about the business/product; News: News and articles related to the business/product on Nhan Dan Newspaper and some official press agencies related to the business/product; Press releases: Businesses post press releases about the business/product; Multimedia: Posting photos, infographics, videos about the business and products.

“After launching the Vietnamese page, in the coming time, Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Ministry of Industry and Trade will coordinate to build an English version. We look forward to receiving the cooperation and support of agencies and businesses so that the page can be increasingly improved, contributing to promoting and developing Vietnamese brands, attracting investment and improving national competitiveness, bringing the country into an era of the Vietnamese people's rise,” said comrade Le Quoc Minh.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Hong Dien, Minister of Industry and Trade, said that the Vietnam National Brand program is a unique, long-term and specific trade promotion program approved and directed by the Prime Minister since 2003.

As the standing agency of the program, over the past years, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has been actively coordinating with ministries, branches, localities; socio-political organizations, industry associations and international partners to effectively implement the key contents of the program; in which the content of propaganda and promotion for the program associated with promoting products achieving the Vietnam National Brand has received special attention.

“The launch of the National Brand website is an important event, marking the formation of a channel providing official information about the general activities of the program and outstanding activities of enterprises with National Brand products; introducing and promoting enterprises and products achieving National Brand, thereby raising social awareness about the role, meaning, importance and necessity of building, protecting and developing brands; at the same time, building and promoting the image of Vietnam as a country with prestige for high-quality goods and services in the domestic and international markets”, affirmed Minister Nguyen Hong Dien.

Contribute to raising Vietnamese brands in the international arena

Sharing his opinion at the ceremony, Mr. Le Viet Hai, Chairman of Hoa Binh Construction Group, said that the launch of the website marks an important milestone in the more than 20-year development journey of the National Brand Program.

According to Mr. Hai, the National Brand is not simply a title but also a sacred responsibility of enterprises to the country, motivating enterprises to make continuous efforts to meet the program's criteria, and at the same time becoming a launching pad for enterprises to reach the world, not only serving the community and Vietnamese people but also spreading the material and spiritual values of Vietnam to people around the world.

The Chairman of Hoa Binh Construction Group assessed that, in the context of deep international integration as present, the launch of this special page by Nhan Dan Newspaper is a clear demonstration of the spirit of innovation, pioneering in digital transformation, believing that the special page will bring many benefits, playing an important role as a bridge between national brands and the domestic and foreign communities, contributing to promoting and enhancing the recognition of Vietnamese brands in the international arena.

Representing listed enterprises, Ms. Tran Anh Dao, Deputy General Director in charge of the Executive Board of Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE), emphasized that this is an important event marking the national brand of Vietnam as well as Vietnamese enterprises.

Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange is aware that encouraging businesses to be transparent in information, providing full information to investors, as well as building brands for businesses and their products through the stock market is also a very important task.

Ms. Tran Anh Dao affirmed that the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange is ready to join hands to build a Vietnam National Brand page with the most complete and transparent information to best support businesses in the future. She also called on the business community to join hands to have a sustainable and strong Vietnam National Brand in the market.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Do Minh Thanh, Deputy General Director of Eurowindow Joint Stock Company, assessed that the special page is a valuable initiative, aiming to promote and raise public awareness of the value of national brands, as well as protect brands when they are infringed. In addition, the special page is also a bridge to help spread brands to domestic and foreign consumers.

Believing that the launch of the website contributes to raising the level of Vietnamese brands in the international arena, Mr. Thanh also affirmed that the national brand is not only a slogan but also a commitment and responsibility of enterprises towards the community and society, and is not only an honor but also a driving force to promote business innovation.

Ms. Dao Thuy Ha, Deputy General Director of Traphaco Joint Stock Company, emphasized that the website is a bridge between Vietnamese enterprises and Vietnamese consumers, helping consumers understand more about the value and contribution of Vietnamese enterprises in creating quality products with good reputation for the benefit of Vietnamese people.

Evaluating the special page as a product of thorough and elaborate investment between Nhan Dan Newspaper, a leading prestigious newspaper, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ms. Dao Thuy Ha affirmed that the launch of the special page is a great motivation for businesses to strive further, continuing to promote the ability to create quality products that are competitive with those of foreign businesses.
