- On the morning of October 10, at Cao Loc Regional Medical Center, the Provincial Department of Health coordinated with Center II (Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children) to organize free screening for disabled children in difficult circumstances.

In the morning, nearly 50 disabled children under 16 years old were examined, consulted and assessed by doctors and nurses of the Provincial General Hospital, Center II and Cao Loc Regional Medical Center for various types of disabilities such as cleft lip, cleft palate, motor disabilities, burn sequelae, eyes, ears - nose - throat... After screening, 18 cases qualified to be assigned free surgery at central hospitals.

It is known that from October 6 to 10, the screening program for children with disabilities was organized at 9 regional medical centers in the province. As a result, the whole province had 284 children with disabilities screened. Through screening, 81 cases were assigned to intervention, orthopedic surgery or free rehabilitation at the Provincial General Hospital and central hospitals .
The program is sponsored by Thien Tam Fund ( Vingroup Corporation), with the support of many businesses and charitable organizations, contributing to providing treatment and community reintegration opportunities for disabled children.
