Emergency rescue of Quang Nam fisherman who suffered serious injury at sea to shore for emergency treatment

(QNO) - At 11:30 p.m. on April 20, Border Guard Squadron 48 under the Border Guard Command promptly brought a seriously ill fisherman from Thang Binh district who was working at sea to shore for emergency treatment.

At 10:00 a.m. on April 20, Border Guard Squadron 48 received information from the Rescue Department (Border Guard General Staff) that the Quang Nam fishing boat with registration number QNa-95445TS had a fisherman who was tired, had severe pain in the right abdomen, had a fever, and could not eat or drink.

There were 40 fishermen on board, captained by Mr. Tran Van Van (42 years old, Binh Minh commune, Thang Binh district), the ship was operating at position 14.30 degrees north latitude - 111.15 degrees east longitude. (about 124 nautical miles Northeast of Quy Nhon).

Receiving the information, Border Guard Squadron 48 mobilized ship BP48.19.01 with 13 officers and soldiers to leave the port.

After 7 hours of overcoming the storm, at 5:30 p.m. the same day, the 48th Fleet ship approached the fishing boat QNa-95445TS, brought the seriously ill fisherman Pham Van Ngoc (33 years old, Binh Minh commune) onto the Fleet ship for first aid and continued the journey to shore.

At 11:30 p.m. the same day, the ship safely docked at the port of Border Guard Squadron 48 and took fisherman Pham Van Ngoc to Binh Dinh General Hospital for treatment.

Currently, fisherman Pham Van Ngoc's health is stable.
