On May 15, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee announced that Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan has just directed departments, branches and sectors to arrange provincial offices, official residences, and open bus routes to support the travel of officials, civil servants and public employees after the province's merger.
According to the report of the Department of Finance, the total demand for office space for officials, civil servants and public employees of the Party agencies is 412 people (of which, Khanh Hoa province has 241 people, Ninh Thuan province has 171 people); the government agencies and public service units of the province are 3,150 people (Khanh Hoa province has 1,873 people, Ninh Thuan province has 1,277 people); the front and mass organizations are 308 people (Khanh Hoa province has 191 people, Ninh Thuan province has 117 people).
Regarding the need for public housing, 96 people are eligible for public housing; 2,073 people are not eligible for public housing.
It is expected that these 96 officials and civil servants will be arranged official housing at the Provincial Party Committee Guest House (No. 2 Tran Hung Dao, Nha Trang City), Guest House T78 and other housing funds.
For cadres, civil servants and public employees who are not eligible for official housing as prescribed, the Department of Finance will base on the guidance of central agencies and the budget balance capacity of the two localities to advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the competent authority to issue a level of financial support for cadres, civil servants and public employees to arrange suitable accommodation to ensure working and living conditions.
Regarding transportation, according to statistics, the total number of people requiring transportation arrangements is 2,169. Of these, 11 people use official vehicles arranged by their agencies or hire them for transportation; 1,699 officials and civil servants use their own vehicles and are supported with travel expenses; 459 people need to use buses or electric buses on fixed routes arranged by the Provincial People's Committee.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, requested departments, branches and localities to make full use of the headquarters of agencies and units in Nha Trang City to arrange workplaces for agencies and units after the merger.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan assigned the Department of Finance to urgently work with localities to review, inventory and promptly advise the province on plans to arrange, use and handle public assets effectively after the merger; promptly complete the plan to arrange public housing for qualified officials and civil servants according to regulations; coordinate with departments, branches and sectors to work with investors to soon deploy the construction of social housing, giving priority to officials from Ninh Thuan province working in Khanh Hoa.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan also requested relevant departments and branches to urgently develop a plan to hire vehicles to transport officials from Phan Rang - Thap Cham City to Nha Trang City for work (departing on Monday, returning on Friday); research to open a bus route from Nha Trang - Phan Rang and vice versa to facilitate people's travel.
