This is the second time Khanh Hoa province has organized the Sea Tourism Festival. In 2022, the Festival was held and left many good impressions, contributing to promoting the image and typical tourism products of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa, thereby, tourism and travel businesses connect and cooperate in business.
This year, with the theme "Nha Trang Pearl Bay Shines Brightly", the Sea Tourism Festival features many street activities, with about 200 booths displaying programs, products, preferential tourism services, and typical products of Khanh Hoa province and localities across the country.
The festival also organizes music and dance programs, culinary festivals, coffee, fruits and regional specialties. The events are open, organized on the streets, creating close interactions with people and tourists such as street parades of motorbikes, flower cars, etc., helping people and tourists experience the unique features of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism. In the context of convenient road traffic from Ho Chi Minh City and Khanh Hoa province, and restored flights, Khanh Hoa province expects to attract 400,000 domestic and international visitors to participate in the Sea Tourism Festival.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of Khanh Hoa Province Department of Tourism said: "Street festivals such as cyclo and ao dai parades interact with local and foreign people and tourists. Thereby, tourism services are gradually becoming more professional. Through these festivals, businesses, people and tourism workers will raise their awareness in improving the quality of professional services and products of localities and regions".
Notably, from July 13 to July 20, Nha Trang City will host the Nha Trang International Light Bay Festival with the theme "Glorious Galaxy". This is the first drone light competition in Vietnam with the participation of 4 drone teams from Korea, China, France, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The event is expected to attract more than 50,000 live visitors each night, reaching more than 20 million viewers nationwide through television channels.
Ms. Nguyen Hoai Thu, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, General Director of Corex Business Solutions Joint Stock Company, the event's co-organizer, said: "This year, there is a combination of giant drones and drones that perform with artistic effects. Therefore, this year's performances will be very different and that is why the Organizing Committee chose the French and UAE teams to perform at Hon Tre Island. This is a different and famous destination in Nha Trang Khanh Hoa, visitors will have many new experiences."
Through special programs and events during the summer, Khanh Hoa province aims to welcome 9 million overnight guests, striving to achieve tourism revenue of about 40,000 billion VND in 2024.
Mr. Dinh Van Thieu, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee affirmed the locality's efforts to enhance the tourism brand of Khanh Hoa: "Our theme is "Nha Trang Pearl Bay Shines Brightly" with the goal and hope that the image of Nha Trang, the image of Khanh Hoa will shine brightly on the tourism map of the whole country and even on the tourism map of the region and the world. From there, promote and develop the image of Nha Trang Khanh Hoa tourist destination, contributing to promoting growth, not only the tourism industry, the spearhead economic sector of Khanh Hoa province".
