On the morning of September 21st, the Hanoi People's Committee held a ceremony to inaugurate and unveil the plaque for the Hanoi Children's Palace. This project commemorates the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).

The project is being built in the CV1 Park and Reservoir area (Nam Tu Liem district) with facilities such as: an 800-seat theater, a 200-seat 3D-4D cinema, a 500-seat arena, a 10-lane swimming pool, a school and library, an astronomical tower, and an administrative and office block.

The Hanoi Children's Palace project, with a total investment of over 1,300 billion VND, commenced construction on November 19, 2021. The completed project aims to create a cultural and sports center for children in the capital city.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen said that in recent years, the city has always paid attention to allocating land and resources to build cultural and sports facilities that meet the needs of physical and mental development of the people, teenagers, and children.

To date, the city has nearly 400 cultural and sports facilities. Of these, all 30 districts, counties, and towns have a Center for Culture, Information, and Sports. The system of cultural and sports facilities at all levels is receiving focused investment for development in both quality and scale.

According to the Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee, with its new look and modern, spacious architecture that is close to nature, the Hanoi Children's Palace will meet the needs of children for activities, learning, playing, sports competitions, and physical training. This will create a favorable environment for nurturing and developing future talents for the city.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen suggested that the Hanoi Children's Palace Management Board continue to innovate, make breakthroughs in quality, meet social needs, and contribute to the comprehensive education of the capital's young generation, truly deserving to be "a place that nurtures dreams and allows childhood to soar."
