Artists of the Lotus Folk Music and Dance Theater rejoice after the success of the musical "Lotus Desire"

On the evening of October 13, the National Music and Dance Festival (phase II) chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and assigned by the Department of Performing Arts, in coordination with the Vietnam Musicians Association, the Vietnam Dance Artists Association, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong province and related units, concluded after 15 days of competition.

The musical "Lotus Desire" of the Ho Chi Minh City Lotus Folk Music and Dance Theater left a deep impression with the elaborate staging of a top-notch work of art.

"Lotus Aspiration" creates a spreading love for national culture

The musical "Lotus Desire" is built with new performances, bearing the mark of traditional and contemporary dance art, fully depicting the efforts in life to preserve the cultural roots and quintessence of the Vietnamese people.

With a duration of 70 minutes, the story is told through a literary script by People's Artist Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, People's Artist Cong Nhac, director People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau and the creative team, painting a beautiful picture of Southern culture.

Throughout the program, with 16 musical and dance performances, clearly depicting the beauty of dance, music and new artistic creations, the program attracted a large audience at the Binh Duong Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center (No. 1 Le Loi, Hoa Phu Ward, Thu Dau Mot, Binh Duong).
