Students of the People's Police Academy in an activity celebrating the 50th anniversary of national reunification
Nguyen Hoang Thuy Duong, from Bac Ninh , 4th year student: Following in her parents' footsteps to contribute to the peace of the Fatherland
"I was born into a family where both my father and mother are People's Public Security officers. Stories about my parents' work and silent sacrifices not only nurtured pride in me, but also sowed the seeds of the ideal of continuing the family tradition and contributing to the peace of the Fatherland.
As a student of the People's Police Academy, I am particularly impressed with the shooting, military training and martial arts subjects. These are subjects specific to the armed forces, requiring physical strength and courage.
Although it is hard, each training session helps me train my will, improve my combat readiness, and serve well the task of protecting security and order.
During my time studying and training at the Academy, I was honored to receive the title of Excellent Student for 3 consecutive years. In addition, I was also recognized as a typical advanced student in the 2020-2025 period of the Academy, achieved the title of "5 Good Students" at the Ministry level and won the First Prize in the School-level Scientific Research Competition and the Encouragement Prize in the Science and Technology Award for Students in Higher Education Institutions in 2024.

In the future, I hope to participate in training courses and professional development both domestically and internationally to continuously improve my professional knowledge, political qualities and practical skills.
I also hope to have the opportunity to participate in international cooperation activities in the field of security and order to broaden my vision, learn from experiences from other countries, and then apply them to practical work in Vietnam.
I believe that, in the current context of deep integration, constantly learning and proactively integrating will help officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security better and better meet the requirements of their tasks in the new situation."
Lang Vi Ha Thuong, from Nghe An, 4th year student: Constantly training to have a strong political stance
"Since entering the Academy, every subject has been useful, giving me valuable knowledge. In particular, political theory has helped me gain understanding and form my political character.
The socio-political practice program is an activity that I really love, helping me have the opportunity to apply theory into practice when I get to "eat together, live together, and work together" with the people.
Lang Vi Ha Thuong, from Nghe An, 4th year student
Through the process of contacting and working with the government and people, each of us students is trained in communication skills, handling situations, and at the same time better understanding social life, customs and practices, and security and order issues at the grassroots level.
In the past 3 years of study, I am proud to have participated in the "Excellent Party Cell Secretary" contest for students and won the second prize. Through this contest, I have been trained and improved many skills in various aspects of Party work and political work. This is also an opportunity for me to learn from the experiences of my comrades and teammates.
To follow in the footsteps of previous generations, our generation of students is always determined to strive in studying, training, and making efforts to contribute to further enhancing the glorious 80-year tradition of the People's Public Security force, ready to join hands with the community to maintain national security, ensure social order and safety, and protect the peaceful and happy life of the people."
Truong Thuy Linh, from Quang Ninh, 4th year student: Spreading the beautiful image of female People's Police officers
"Since I was a child, I have dreamed of becoming a People's Police officer. During my time studying at the Academy, I especially loved martial arts. At first, I had a difficult time when I first came into contact with this subject.
Truong Thuy Linh, from Quang Ninh, 4th year student
When I got used to it, I found it a very interesting subject, helping me to practice my physical strength, self-defense and combat skills, and to hone my will, resilience and mettle of a People's Public Security soldier.
During the past 3 years of study, I was proud to be chosen as one of the students to visit Truong Sa archipelago and DK1 platform. This was a memorable experience for me. The trip helped me understand the lives of officers, soldiers and people on the island.
Simple images and stories from the daily life of soldiers and people on remote islands have given me more love for the Fatherland, along with a strong will and perseverance in the face of all storms.
When deciding to stand in the ranks of the People's Public Security force in the renovation period, I wish to live and devote myself to the cause of building and developing the country, and strive to fulfill the assigned tasks well.
I promise to continuously study and practice to improve myself, contributing to spreading the beautiful image of female People's Police soldiers, and at the same time more strongly arousing the spirit of patriotism, gratitude and responsibility of today's young generation."
