Rewarding two individuals in Hung Loi commune who helped the person who mistakenly transferred money to get back 500 million VND

On July 21, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Loi commune organized a ceremony to commend two individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement of All people protecting national security. Specifically, the two individuals who received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune are: Captain Ly Van Thuy, an officer of Hung Loi commune police, and Ms. Dao Thi Cho, a citizen of Le village, Hung Loi commune.

Previously, on July 18, Captain Thuy successfully completed the task of verifying that the Viettinbank account number "Cho1987" belonged to Ms. Dao Thi Cho, who received 500 million VND from Ms. VTMX, residing in Hamlet 2, Long Xuyen Ward ( An Giang Province) mistakenly transferred on June 12, 2025.

Through the verification and working process, Ms. Dao Thi Cho said that she has a VietinBank account but is not currently using it and does not know the amount of money transferred by mistake.

Immediately afterwards, Ms. Cho coordinated with the Commune Police and VietinBank Tuyen Quang branch to return the 500 million VND mistakenly transferred to Ms. VTMX according to regulations.

The work demonstrates the sense of responsibility of the officers and soldiers of the Commune Police, as well as the honesty and strict compliance with the law of citizens, contributing to spreading beautiful images in the community, promoting the movement of All people protecting national security in the locality.
