For Tran Huyen My, a former student of the Literature specialized class of 32 at Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted in Van Phu Ward, and currently a second-year student at Hanoi University of Foreign Languages, writing is not a fleeting hobby but a passion that has been nurtured since her junior high school years.
Entering high school and studying in a richly traditional environment, Huyen My felt even more inspired to pursue her passion and confidently assert her own style and personality.

In-depth lessons and literary discussions with teachers and friends helped her not only solidify her linguistic thinking but also learn how to fully convey her personal feelings and emotions in each work. Not content with just what she wrote in textbooks, Huyen My quickly demonstrated her abilities by becoming a familiar and consistent collaborator of the Yen Bai Provincial Association of Literature and Arts (before its merger) from her high school days.
Huyen My really likes the quote by poet To Huu: "Poetry only springs from our hearts when life is truly full." The poems Huyen My writes are as innocent and pure as her age, personality, and character.
Entering university, amidst the hustle and bustle of the capital and the academic pressures of a foreign language student, Huyen My still finds a quiet space for poetry. Her poems aren't overly elaborate in their wording, but they are rich in evocative power, a place where she expresses her thoughts on growing up and the reflections of a young person standing at the threshold of life. Maintaining her collaboration with the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts, even while studying far from home, demonstrates a deep connection to her homeland and a sincere, enduring love for literature. For Huyen My, writing is a way to "position" herself in the wider world .

Unlike the contemplative tone in Huyen My's poetry, La Nha My – a 12th-grade student from the Provincial Ethnic Boarding High School – exudes the vibrant spirit of student life and a deep sense of national pride. An active member of the school's Literature and Arts Creative Writing Club, Nha My considers paper a repository of the most beautiful memories of her years at the boarding school.

Having participated in a young writer's training course organized by the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts, Nha My quickly established her own unique style. She often writes about friendship, the bonds between members of a shared boarding school, and especially a fresh perspective on national cultural identity. In My's works, readers not only see the innocence of an 18-year-old, but also the anxieties of a young person trying to preserve and promote the traditional values of their ancestors. Nha My wants to prove that Gen Z has not forgotten its roots; instead, they are using modern language to retell old stories with pride.
The clearest evidence of the vibrant spirit of love for literature among young people is the story of Ha Thi Thanh Lieu, a student in class 11A2 at Cam An High School. Her home is in Tan Minh village, Bao Ai commune – an area still facing many difficulties – but geographical distance seemed unable to deter this young girl. To satisfy her desire to learn and write, Thanh Lieu did not hesitate to travel 40 km to participate in a young writer training course organized by the Provincial Union of Literature and Arts.

As a member of the provincial-level gifted student team in Literature, Thanh Liễu is actively studying and preparing for the upcoming provincial-level gifted student selection exam, yet she still finds time for emotionally rich writing. Her essays often reflect subtle perceptions of everyday life, the beauty of the countryside, or small but genuine emotional stirrings. Thanh Liễu's efforts are a powerful affirmation: When passion is strong enough, all barriers of space and time become meaningless.
Creative writing workshops for young writers or literary and artistic clubs in schools are the most favorable environments to nurture and develop young talents in the right direction. Through their love of literature, Generation Z is connecting the community, spreading positive messages about their homeland, national pride, and aspirations for progress. The flame of literature is being ignited by promising individuals who write to live more fully, with the rhythm of their youthful hearts, shaping a new face for literature in the future.
