Established eight years ago, the Tran Phu Dance Club currently has 23 members, regularly meeting at the cultural center of groups 2, 3, and 4 in Tran Phu ward. This is one of the first and most enduring dance clubs in the city, contributing to spreading an active and positive spirit among the elderly community. Mr. Trieu Minh Tu, 73 years old, one of the club's long-time members, emotionally shared: “The older I get, the more I feel the need for exercise and social interaction. I joined the club from the beginning, and now my wife joins too. Dancing helps my wife and I bond more, relaxes our spirits, and improves our health significantly.” For Mr. Tu, dancing is not just exercise but also a “happiness potion” that keeps old age light and colorful.

Club gatherings are always opportunities for senior citizens to meet and learn from each other.

The Quang Trung Sports Dance Club is also a shining example of the movement. Established in 2016, the club currently has 24 members, led by Mr. Cao Thanh Tra, 70 years old – a passionate individual. Mr. Tra happily recounts: "Each person comes to dancing for a different reason, but they all stay because they find it fun and healthy. Some people who used to stay almost entirely at home now come every evening, chatting and laughing heartily, living much more openly." According to Mr. Tra, the special thing about dancing is its flexibility and accessibility. It doesn't require talent, nor is there an age limit. With a relaxed spirit and comfortable shoes, anyone can start.

These club gatherings are opportunities for senior citizens to meet and learn from each other.
Dancing is a valuable form of medicine that helps improve health in old age, enabling seniors to live happy, healthy, and meaningful lives.

Beyond simply practicing, dance clubs also maintain regular social gatherings and perform at community events. On these occasions, the elderly also have their own stage to shine, express themselves, and spread positive energy to those around them.

No large venues or expensive equipment are needed; these elderly people are still living healthy and happy lives through simple yet inspiring dance steps. When night falls and the lights come on, their steps continue rhythmically, just like the vibrant life they maintain every day.
