After round 24, the race at the bottom of the table is no longer just a story betweenSHB Da Nang and PVF-CAND, but has expanded to include Thanh Hoa, HAGL, and even Becamex Ho Chi Minh City.

Currently, Thanh Hoa has 25 points, HAGL 23 points, Becamex Ho Chi Minh City 21 points, while Da Nang (20 points) and PVF-CAND (18 points) remain at the bottom of the table. However, this gap is not yet safe for any team as there are still two rounds left in the season.
SHB Da Nang is showing a strong resurgence, having earned 7 points in their last 3 matches. The team from the Han River therefore continues to harbor hopes of avoiding relegation, despite facing a challenging schedule.
In round 25, SHB Da Nang will face Hong Linh Ha Tinh, before meeting Thanh Hoa in the final round. These are considered two "finals" that will decide the fate of coach Le Duc Tuan's team.

Meanwhile, HAGL has been disappointing, only managing to secure 1 point in their last 3 matches. The team from Pleiku is still not safe from relegation as they face Hanoi FC and Becamex Ho Chi Minh City in the final round. If they continue to drop points, HAGL could find themselves in a dangerous position.
Thanh Hoa is also under pressure as they face Ninh Binh and SHB Da Nang in their last two matches. Similarly, Becamex Ho Chi Minh City faces a significant risk as they consecutively clash with Hanoi Police and HAGL.
According to the schedule, all matches in rounds 25 and 26 will take place simultaneously at 6 PM on May 31st and June 7th to ensure fairness. With the point difference between teams being so close, even a single unfavorable result could completely change the outcome.
With many possible scenarios, the V.League 2025/26 relegation battle is predicted to only be decided after the final round. This promises to be a breathtaking and emotional competition in Vietnamese football this season.
