The moment a robber shot the son of a gold shop owner in Hai Duong

Images from a security camera inside Duc Nam gold shop (Dong Gia town, Dong Cam commune, Kim Thanh district, Hai Duong ) show that at 8:00 p.m. on June 7, two men riding a motorbike (license plate unknown), wearing helmets, came to this gold shop and used a hammer to smash the glass display case of gold.

Discovering the incident, the store owner and his son ran to stop them. One of the two young men used a gun (unknown type) to shoot, injuring Nguyen Dang Ninh (born 1977), the son of the owner of the Duc Nam gold store, in the abdomen and arm.

Immediately after that, the two young men left their motorbikes and fled the scene.

Local people shouted and informed the police and local authorities. Mr. Nguyen Dang Ninh was taken to Viet Tiep Hospital, Hai Phong by his family for emergency treatment.

It was raining heavily at the time of the incident, so the victim’s family’s cries were not heard by many people. Some neighbors discovered and chased the two suspects but could not control them.

Currently, the Kim Thanh district authorities are urgently searching for the two suspects who caused the robbery. At the scene of the incident, there were many people watching the incident.

Colonel Bui Quang Binh, Director of Hai Duong Provincial Police, was present at the scene.

By dawn on June 8, Colonel Bui Quang Binh and Lieutenant Colonel Bui Duc Tai, Deputy Director of the Criminal Department, Ministry of Public Security, were directly directing the investigation and arrest of the suspect.
