At the show, the actress was moved by the images of women who lost their husbands and worked hard day and night to raise their children. Thinking back, she felt that she was luckier than many people because she had a good job and many conditions to earn more money to take better care of her children.

The actress affirmed that being a single mother is not easy. It is always more difficult for women to do things than men, so it is even more difficult when they have to shoulder the responsibility of both roles. For her, 24 hours a day is not enough because she has to take care of her mother, take care of her two children, go to film, rehearse plays, manage and teach acting at a stage with her colleagues.
Dao Van Anh admitted that she did not know how to share the role of a father with her children. Although she was worried, because of her forced circumstances, she always tried her best and did not let her two children feel that they lacked a father.
“I want my child to see that this is the invisible father inside me. Still creating a sense of security and a happy family for the child even though the image of a father is really lacking,” she confided.
The actress of the movie “Stepmother’s Restaurant” added that sometimes she feels helpless and wants to give up everything, but she tries to hold on. For her, as a single mother, she must never cry in front of her children or her mother because they are the ones who are leaning on her shoulder. If she cries in front of them, they will not know who to lean on.
Therefore, whenever she felt exhausted and helpless, Dao Van Anh only dared to cry when she was alone. After those tears, she stood up strong and continued to try for her old mother and two young children.
The star of the movie “Stepmother’s Restaurant” always tries to balance work and family. During holidays or important family occasions, she prioritizes time with her mother and two sons because to her, her family members suffer a lot because she often has to film and is busy with work.

“The amount of work is getting thicker and thicker, but I have to do it because my children are getting older and my expenses are getting higher. My income cannot stop at the current level, I have to always try harder. I have to save to prepare for the long term future, to take care of myself as well as my children and my mother,” Dao Van Anh said.
Dao Van Anh’s consolation is that her eldest son is becoming more and more understanding. He confided that when he grows up, he will try to earn a lot of money to build a big house. He will invite homeless people to live there so they don’t have to wander anymore.
Drawing on her own practical experience, she advises modern women to learn more about their own abilities. “You have to prepare carefully about your job and income. If you have everything, decide to do it,” the actress commented, adding that if you have not experienced it, no one can feel the loneliness and difficulty of having to take on two roles in a family alone.
