Commencement of Nam Mau Coal Screening Plant Construction Investment Project

On August 19, in Yen Tu ward, Nam Mau Coal Company - TKV held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Nam Mau Coal Screening Plant Investment Project. Attending the ceremony were representatives of departments, branches, localities in the province and leaders of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV).

The Nam Mau Coal Screening Plant construction investment project is part of the list of important projects with priority for investment in the energy sector, approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 893/QD-TTg dated July 26, 2023. The project is invested by Nam Mau Coal Company, with a screening capacity of 2.5 million tons of raw coal/year, with a total investment value of VND 1,019 billion.

The factory will be built on an area of over 17 hectares with a modernly designed production line, applying three-product suspension separation technology, a closed system, advanced sludge and water treatment and coal drying, contributing to improving the quality of finished coal, reducing resource loss, and protecting the environment. The project construction period is from 2025 to 2027.
