On March 6, Tam Duong District People's Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Tam Duong District High-Quality Secondary School Project. Tam Duong Secondary School was established in 1993 with the original name of Tam Dao Specialized Secondary School (located in Doi Son area, Thanh Van commune, Tam Dao district, former Vinh Phu province). In 1996, the school was renamed Tam Dao Secondary School. In 1998, due to the separation of the district, the school was renamed Tam Duong Secondary School and moved to a new location in Lien Binh village, Hop Hoa town, Tam Duong district in 2003.
After more than 30 years of construction and development, the school has always maintained a long history of achievements in the emulation movement "Good Teaching - Good Learning", the school's training quality is increasingly improved.
The project to build a high-quality secondary school in Tam Duong district has a total investment of 200 billion VND, built on an area of 2.46 hectares with many important items, modern design suitable for the standards of a national standard school level 2.
To date, the project has completed 100% of the compensation work for site clearance; selected the design consultant; the construction unit and the supervision consultant. The expected completion time of the project is 630 days.
The District People's Committee assigned the Construction Investment Project Management Board to be the investor to implement the project; requested contractors and consultants to focus on speeding up the construction progress to ensure the completion of the project and put it into use on schedule.
This is an important project in developing theeducational infrastructure system, contributing to improving the quality of education in the district. At the same time, it is also a project to welcome the Tam Duong District Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
