Groundbreaking ceremony of Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Agricultural and Forestry Products Processing and Production Factory

(GLO)- On the morning of August 19, in Tay Son commune, Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company coordinated with the People's Committee of Gia Lai province to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of the Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh concentrated agricultural and forestry products production and processing factory project.

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Tuan Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Nguyen The Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Huynh Thuy Van - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; strategic partners of Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company in the Chinese market.

The Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Agricultural and Forestry Products Production and Processing Factory Project is being built on an area of 10 hectares (in Village 2, Tay Son Commune), with a total investment capital of nearly 500 billion VND in phase 1.

Production scale: 10,000 tons of animal feed; 21,000 tons of canned and instant fruits; 2,000 tons of functional foods and 5,000 m³ of cosmetics per year. The product lines are manufactured using the most advanced technology available today.

In production, the enterprise cooperates to build a raw material area of about 2,500 hectares with local agricultural products and medicinal plants, associated with product consumption for farmers and cooperatives.

The project applies AI technology in agricultural management, blockchain traceability, a type A standard microbiological wastewater treatment system and transparency of the entire supply chain, ensuring product supply to markets around the world.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh said: Gia Lai has a lot of potential and strengths to develop agriculture with an annual cultivated land area of about 1.4 million hectares. Currently, the province is focusing resources on investing in completing irrigation and traffic infrastructure to promote high-tech agricultural development, associated with attracting businesses to invest in deep processing factories. On August 18, the Provincial People's Committee also successfully organized the Conference on Promoting Export to the Chinese Market.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: The Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Agricultural and Forestry Products Production and Processing Factory Project is of great significance to the development of the province. When put into operation, the Project will not only bring benefits to enterprises but also contribute to the sustainable development of Gia Lai province's agriculture sector, create regular jobs and purchase and consume agricultural products for people, promoting local socio-economic development.

Along with congratulating the initial success of the enterprise, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company to focus maximum resources, implement the project on schedule, ensure construction quality and absolute labor safety; strictly comply with legal regulations, especially regulations on environmental protection throughout the construction and operation of the factory.

He also affirmed that Gia Lai province will continue to accompany businesses, creating the most favorable conditions for the project to be completed on schedule.

On this occasion, Vinanutrifood Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company also presented 20 gifts to poor students who overcome difficulties in studying in Tay Son commune.
