Construction begins on rebuilding the tomb of King Tu Duc's wife

TTH.VN - On April 26, the Nguyen Phuoc Ethnic Council of Vietnam and the Value Chain Trading and Service Company Limited, the investor of the Tu Duc - Dong Khanh Tomb Visitor Parking Lot project, just laid the groundwork for the construction of the tomb of King Tu Duc's wife.

The reconstruction of the tomb of Lady Tai Nhan, wife of King Tu Duc, was carried out according to the design drawings proposed by the Hue Monuments Conservation Center and was agreed upon by the relevant parties. The project was designed according to the model of the talented person of the Nguyen Dynasty under King Tu Duc.

The mausoleum of Lady Tai Nhan was built in the old location. The total area of the project is 202m2 , the main mausoleum area is 35m2 , the remaining area is paved with stone and planted with trees to create a landscape. The construction time is expected to be completed in June 2023.

The cost of implementing the project is undertaken by Value Chain Trading and Service Company Limited.

This tomb is located on a plot of land planned as a parking lot to serve the needs of visitors to the Tu Duc and Dong Khanh tombs. On June 20, 2017, during the implementation of the parking lot project, Value Chain Trading and Service Company Limited leveled this tomb.

The groundbreaking ceremony to rebuild the tomb of King Tu Duc's wife is the first step in implementing the steps to build the above mentioned parking lot.
