Vietnam Pickleball Championship 2025 Launch

The Vietnam Pickleball Tournament - Hyundai Thanh Cong Cup 2025 is scheduled to take place over three days, from July 4 to 6, 2025, at the D-JOY Pickleball Court Complex (61 Nguyen Luong Bang, Tan Phu Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City).

On the afternoon of May 20, in Hanoi, a press conference was held to announce the Vietnam Pickleball Championship - Hyundai Thanh Cong Cup 2025. This tournament is co-organized by Tien Phong Newspaper and the Vietnam Sports and Physical Training Department.

With a nationwide scale and a systematic competition system, the Vietnam Pickleball Tournament 2025 is not only a healthy sports playground, but is also expected to become a milestone laying the foundation for the professionalization of Pickleball in the S-shaped country.

At the ceremony, journalist Phung Cong Suong - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee shared: "The 2025 Vietnam Pickleball Tournament includes 2 professional and grassroots contents. The tournament not only creates a healthy and fair playing field but also strictly complies with professional regulations on personnel and competition records.

We are committed to organizing the tournament in a professional and transparent manner, from operations, referees, media... to create new standards for pickleball in the future."

According to information from the Organizing Committee, the Vietnam Pickleball Championship 2025 will take place from July 4 to July 6, 2025, at the D-JOY Pickleball court cluster (No. 61 Nguyen Luong Bang, Tan Phu Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City).

Athletes will compete in the following categories: Professional: Men's singles (group 1 from 17 to 34 years old, group 2 from 35 years old and above); women's singles (group 1 from 17 to 30 years old, group 2 from 31 years old and above); men's doubles (group 1 from 17 to 34 years old, group 2 from 35 years old and above); women's doubles (group 1 from 17 to 30 years old, group 2 from 31 years old and above); mixed doubles (group 1: men from 17 to 34 years old + women from 17 to 30 years old, group 2 men from 35 years old and above + women from 31 years old and above).

Movement: Men's singles (group 1 from 17 to 34 years old, group 2 from 35 years old and above); women's singles (group 1 from 17 to 34 years old, group 2 from 35 years old and above); men's doubles (group 1 from 17 to 34 years old, group 2 from 35 years old and above); women's doubles (group 1 from 17 to 34 years old, group 2 from 35 years old and above); mixed doubles (group 1 from 17 to 34 years old, group 2 from 35 years old and above).

In particular, the Super Cup match only applies to men's and women's singles, including the match between the two men's singles champions of the two professional age groups (group 1 and group 2); the match between the two women's singles champions of the two professional age groups (group 1 and group 2).

Participants of Pickleball Championship 2025: Male and female athletes who are healthy, have not violated the law, and are not currently banned from competing (including foreign athletes). Athletes can only compete in one age group (athletes in the upper age group can compete in the lower age group). Athletes who have competed in amateur events are not allowed to compete in professional events and vice versa. Each athlete can only compete for one team in the tournament.
