At the reception, Mr. Mansour Ali Saeed Bajash expressed his joy at visiting Vietnam for the first time, witnessing the beauty of the country, people and development achievements of Vietnam; thanked the warm and hospitable welcome of the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training .
Mr. Mansour Ali Saeed Bajash shared that Vietnam and Yemen have many similarities, having both experienced war and having established diplomatic relations for 63 years. The two countries have a lot of room for cooperation in many areas such as economy, trade, industry, agriculture and especially education.
The Yemeni government has now established a Presidential Council, opening up prospects for peace and stability in the country. The government has also identified nine priority areas, with education being the top priority.
Yemen is planning to build five universities in the new capital, promote science and technology activities, innovation and needs support from countries around the world, including Vietnam.

“Before visiting the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training, I reported to the Government and everyone highly appreciated this visit. When I came here, I witnessed and experienced Vietnam's achievements. Vietnam's development story is an inspiration for underdeveloped, war-affected countries like Yemen to strive and learn from its experience,” Mr. Bajash said.
Mr. Bajash also said that Yemen has some strengths in science and technology, and a large number of Arabic language teachers. Universities that are about to open in Yemen are eager to welcome foreign students.
Many Yemeni students also wish to study in Vietnam. Educational cooperation between the two countries has great potential. The two countries can exchange students, students, and researchers.

Thanking Mr. Mansour Ali Saeed Bajash for providing information and suggestions for educational cooperation between the two countries, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Phuc said: Currently, Vietnam has about 100 million people and 25 million students.
Many Vietnamese students go abroad to study and many foreign students come to Vietnam to study through exchange programs and agreements.
Regarding the Middle East and North Africa region, Vietnam has established cooperative relations with many countries such as UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt; sent experts to work in Angola, Mozambique... In addition, students from Middle East and North Africa countries have come to Vietnam to study; Arabic is being taught at some universities in Vietnam.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Phuc shared that as a country that has experienced war, Vietnam understands and sympathizes with the difficulties that the country and people of Yemen have been and are facing, and hopes that Yemen will soon achieve the highest goal of stability, peace and development.
Through the proposal of the Deputy Minister, Vietnam welcomes and is ready to exchange educational cooperation with Yemen, especially in areas where both sides have strengths and areas with great potential. The Ministry of Education and Training is ready to cooperate in areas where Yemen has demand and within the capacity of the Ministry of Education and Training, in accordance with the provisions of Vietnamese law.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Phuc proposed that in the immediate future, the two sides should focus on exchanging and learning about the education and training systems of Vietnam and Yemen; establishing cooperative relations between higher education institutions; and exchanging students and lecturers between universities of the two countries.
