Prosecution of the subject who buried more than 2.2 million kg of waste causing environmental pollution

On the afternoon of September 27, the Investigation Police Agency of Binh Duong Province Police issued a decision to prosecute the accused and an order prohibiting him from leaving his place of residence for Tran Van Hoang Giang (born in 1987, temporarily residing in Phu Loi Ward, Thu Dau Mot City) for the crime of "Causing environmental pollution".

According to Binh Duong Provincial Police, during his business activities, Tran Van Hoang Giang allowed others to illegally dump more than 2.2 million kg of common industrial waste onto a land area of thousands of square meters in Ben Tuong Hamlet, Lai Hung Commune, Bau Bang District, causing environmental pollution.

Notably, the illegal landfill site was surrounded by corrugated iron in the middle of a rubber forest.
