BTO-On the evening of May 23, the 2023 Binh Thuan Province Club Cup 5x5 Basketball Tournament officially opened at the Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center. Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism attended.
The tournament has 9 clubs from districts and cities such as: The Greys Club, Tran Hung Dao Specialized Club, UPT Team Club, Stadium Club, JB Phan Thiet Club, Luong Son Basketball Club, Phan Chu Trinh Club, Dat Viet Club, Hai Ninh Sports Club.
The 5x5 Basketball Tournament of Clubs Cup is an activity in response to the National Tourism Year 2023 with the theme "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence"; responding to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", welcoming the 1st Congress of Binh Thuan Provincial Basketball Federation in 2023 and contributing to serving the cultural and spiritual life of the local people.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam said: “ Through the tournament, we aim to expand and improve the quality of the Basketball training movement throughout the province, and at the same time select athletes for the talented, young, and provincial teams to participate in the national tournament this year and the following years . Thereby improving the organization and management of the team of managers, supervisors, referees, and technical staff in a professional manner ; preparing to organize the national tournament locally.
The tournament will take place from May 23 - 27, 2023 .
