Chiem Son residential area (Duy Son commune, Duy Xuyen district) organizes Great Unity festival

On the morning of November 17, Chiem Son residential area, Duy Son commune, Duy Xuyen district held a ceremony to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024). Comrade Le Tri Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee attended to share joy with the people.

Chiem Son residential area (Duy Son commune, Duy Xuyen district) organized the Great Unity festival on the morning of November 17.

Chiem Son residential area has 12 solidarity groups, 468 households with 1,852 people. During the year, the Front Committee of Chiem Son village actively mobilized people to promote production, convert crops and livestock, develop industries and services, trade, improve the economic life of households, contribute to increasing the number of well-off households, reducing the rate of poor and near-poor households in the area. Up to now, the average income per capita has reached 70 million VND/year. Along with that, the people of Chiem Son unite to build a cultural life, promote the tradition of gratitude, mutual love and affection. Through the evaluation results, the whole village has more than 95% of families recognized as cultural, the village has achieved the title of cultural village.

In particular, people actively responded to and participated in the new rural construction program, voluntarily donated land, and moved fences and gates to build rural infrastructure. At the same time, people in the village actively participated in and expanded the models of "Self-managed residential areas for environmental protection", "Flower route", "Residential areas say no to plastic waste", "Self-managed residential areas for road sections" and many other meaningful models, with positive spreading effects.

Comrade Le Tri Thanh - Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee said that the achievements in building new rural areas of Chiem Son village have the support and great contribution of the people. Comrade Le Tri Thanh also hopes that the people will unanimously support the policies of the Party and the State, strive to compete in economic development, protect the environment and preserve local traditional culture.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Le Tri Thanh presented the symbols of 2 Great Solidarity houses to 2 households in difficult circumstances.

The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented 10 gifts to poor households.

On this occasion, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Tri Thanh and leaders of Duy Xuyen district presented the symbols of 2 Great Solidarity Houses, each receiving 100 million VND. The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee also presented 10 gifts to poor households; Duy Xuyen district rewarded collectives and individuals who have made many contributions to local movements.
