On June 22, in response to a reporter's question about Vietnam's reaction to the US attack on a number of Iran's nuclear facilities in the early morning of June 22, 2025 (Vietnam time), Spokesperson of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pham Thu Hang stated:

“Vietnam is deeply concerned about the escalating and complicated conflict situation in the Middle East, which seriously threatens the lives and safety of civilians, and peace and stability in the region and the world .

Vietnam calls on relevant parties to immediately end military actions, including attacks on nuclear facilities, continue negotiation efforts, resolve disagreements by peaceful means, on the basis of international law, especially the United Nations Charter, respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries, international humanitarian law and regulations of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)"./.
