In the next 5 years, Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Province's industrial zones aim to attract 3-4 billion USD in investment capital. In addition, industrial production value is expected to grow 10-11%/year; trade and services increase 4-5%/year; total annual budget revenue reaches about 28,000 billion VND.

It is expected that Dung Quat Economic Zone and the province's industrial parks will create about 20,000 more jobs, playing an important role in solving local labor problems. At Bo Y international border gate alone, the plan is to reach about 330,000 passengers and vehicles passing through; export turnover will reach 1.8 billion USD.
