Traffic control detects subjects transporting smuggled goods

BPO - On the morning of April 20, Lieutenant Colonel Luong Phu Tan, Captain of Traffic Police Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department of Binh Phuoc Province Police, said that the unit had just completed the procedures to hand over the violators and evidence related to the case of transporting pesticides of unknown origin to the Economic Police Department, Binh Phuoc Province Police for handling according to their authority.

Previously, at around 6:45 p.m. on April 19, at km86 of National Highway 13, in Tan Khai town, Hon Quan district, a working group of Traffic Police Team No. 1 stopped and inspected a truck with license plate 93H-034.01, Hino brand, 6,200 kg, driven by Lieu The Du (born in 1995), permanent resident of Hamlet 4A, Loc Tan commune, Loc Ninh district, in the direction of Loc Ninh - Chon Thanh.

Pesticides with foreign labels and trademarks, without invoices or documents proving origin

Upon inspection, the task force discovered that the vehicle was carrying 270 cartons containing pesticides of 17 different types bearing foreign labels and trademarks, including: 6,328 liquid bottles, 80 liquid cans, 6,628 powder packets, and 72 powder boxes. All of the exhibits had no invoices or documents proving their origin. The task force transferred the violators and vehicles to the headquarters of Traffic Police Team No. 1, then carried out procedures according to the provisions of law.
