
The interdisciplinary inspection team controls vehicle weight and places a weighing station at km101+000, Tra Mai commune.
The team is divided into 3 shifts, with 24/7 control. Each shift has 5 people, including traffic police of Nam Tra My District Police, inspectors and staff of Mobile Vehicle Weight Inspection Station No. 23 under the Department of Transport Inspectorate. In addition, each shift also has a leader of the Department of Transport Inspectorate monitoring the station's activities.
Deputy Chief Inspector of the Department of Transport - Mr. Ho Cong Tri said that the interdisciplinary inspection team controlling vehicle weight has repeatedly set up weighing stations near the beginning of National Highway 14D (in Ca Dy commune, Nam Giang district) to control the weight of trucks and trailers traveling on the vital route connecting Ho Chi Minh road to Nam Giang International Border Gate. The interdisciplinary force also performed official duties during the recent National Day holiday on September 2.

Previously, on May 3, 2024, the Department of Transport and Quang Nam Provincial Police agreed to issue an inter-sectoral coordination plan to control vehicle load.
Thereby, in order to promptly and fully implement the direction of the Government, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Public Security and Provincial People's Committee on strengthening vehicle load control, ensuring traffic order and safety on roads, contributing to protecting road infrastructure.
Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in ensuring road traffic safety and order; raise awareness of self-compliance with legal regulations of drivers, vehicle owners, people loading goods onto vehicles and automobile transport businesses.
