The interdisciplinary inspection team of An Giang province checked the legal documents, origin, source, invoices and documents of input food ingredients.
The interdisciplinary inspection team includes representatives of the An Giang Provincial Food Safety and Hygiene Department, the Police Department for Investigation of Crimes on Corruption, Economy , Smuggling, and Environment (PC03) of An Giang Provincial Police and representatives of the Department of Culture and Society of Long Xuyen Ward.
During the inspection, the delegation focused on comprehensively reviewing the restaurant's food processing and serving process. The key contents included: Legal documents, certificates of food safety eligibility; origin, source and invoices, documents of input food ingredients; procedures for preparing, processing, and preserving raw and cooked food; hygiene conditions of the facility, equipment, and kitchen utensils; food sample storage according to the 3-step regulation; provision of labor protection equipment, and food safety knowledge of staff and chefs directly involved in processing.
The inspection team inspected food processing and storage areas and reviewed the restaurant's food processing and serving procedures.
According to the plan, the inspection and supervision work of the interdisciplinary delegation will take place continuously for 3 days, from October 1 to October 3, to ensure that all meals served to delegates are safe and of good quality, contributing significantly to the success of the Provincial Party Congress.
