Checking the progress of new rural construction in Dinh Lap district, Lang Son

(Dan Tri) - Recently, Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, led a working delegation to inspect the progress of building a new rural district (NTM) in Dinh Lap district.

According to the report at the inspection session, since the beginning of the year, the People's Committee of Dinh Lap district has directed specialized agencies and People's Committees of communes to focus on consolidating and improving the quality of criteria; focusing on building Dong Thang commune to meet NTM standards, Cuong Loi commune to meet model NTM standards...

Up to now, Dinh Lap district has 9/10 communes recognized as meeting NTM standards.

Regarding the criteria for a new rural district, after the first 6 months of the year, Dinh Lap district achieved 4/9 criteria; 5 criteria were not achieved including: Traffic; health - culture - education; economy ; environment; quality of living environment.

Speaking at the inspection session, Mr. Luong Trong Quynh requested departments, branches, sectors and units to focus on closely coordinating with Dinh Lap district to deploy tasks to ensure the achievement of the goal of a new rural district by 2025.

For Dinh Lap district, Mr. Quynh requested the district Party Committee and government to review and carefully evaluate the results achieved in implementing the national criteria set for new rural districts in the 2021-2025 period, and develop a dossier of completed new rural district criteria to submit to the provincial level for review.
