Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic Hospital has a new Director

(Dan Tri) - The new Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic Trauma Hospital is expected by the Department of Health to bring the unit to breakthrough in many new techniques, especially robotic techniques, to better care for people's health.

Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic Trauma Hospital has just held a ceremony to announce and hand over the decision to appoint a new Director to Dr. Hoang Manh Cuong, from September 1.

Speaking at the decision-giving ceremony, Associate Professor Tang Chi Thuong, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, congratulated and acknowledged the outstanding achievements and contributions of Dr. Hoang Manh Cuong during his time working at the hospital.

The leaders of the Department of Health believe that with his extensive professional capacity, management experience and high sense of responsibility, Mr. Cuong will continue to inherit, promote and build the Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic Trauma Hospital to grow more and more.

In particular, the hospital is expected to break through many new techniques, especially robotic techniques, to better meet the health care needs of the people, continuing to be the leader in the field of Orthopedics and Trauma in all southern provinces.

Mr. Thuong also hopes that during Dr. Hoang Manh Cuong's 5-year term, Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic Hospital will build a new facility.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Hoang Manh Cuong thanked the leaders of the Department of Health and expressed his respect to Dr. Chau Van Dinh (the previous Director who will retire under the policy), who has always guided and supported him.

Mr. Cuong affirmed that he will make every effort and promote the strength of solidarity to turn the Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic Hospital into a modern, high-quality and friendly medical unit, contributing to enhancing the reputation of the medical sector.

Mr. Hoang Manh Cuong was born in 1970, is a specialist in Orthopedics. Since 1998, he has been working at the Hospital of Orthopedics in Ho Chi Minh City.

Dr. Hoang Manh Cuong has made many professional contributions to the hospital, especially in the field of shoulder arthroscopy and upper limb bone fusion methods. He has held the position of Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic and Trauma Hospital since 2015.
