In recent times, the judicial work has had many clear, positive and outstanding changes. As an important legal advisory body for the City People's Committee, the judicial sector has made many important contributions in advising on the direction and administration of the city, especially in the work of building, appraising and perfecting the city's legal system to ensure constitutionality, legality and high feasibility in people's lives.

Notably, the work of disseminating and educating the law has undergone many innovations, increasingly diversified in form, rich in content, information technology has been enhanced, focusing on efficiency. The work of judicial support has undergone many changes compared to before; the work of handling administrative violations and monitoring law enforcement has become more and more orderly, advising the City People's Committee to handle many complicated files on handling administrative violations as well as guiding agencies, departments and branches to implement this work in accordance with regulations.

In particular, administrative reform and digital transformation have been focused on, notably in the digitalization of electronic civil status data, being one of 17/63 provinces and cities to complete early data digitization in the work of judicial records and the judicial sector; being active and highly responsible in supporting grassroots justice, especially in the initial stage of implementing 2-level local government in the fields of civil status, authentication, civil status software, documents, handling of administrative violations, etc.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Chi Tai suggested that the judiciary should continue to enhance its role in creating laws, continue to affirm the role and position of judicial agencies in advising on building and perfecting the legal system, especially documents related to innovation, digital transformation and private economic development, and international economic integration.

Focus on sending civil servants to the grassroots to grasp the situation, propose solutions to remove difficulties, handle arising issues within their functions and tasks, especially administrative procedures related to civil status, justice... monitor, inspect, and accompany to ensure normal, smooth and effective operation of justice in communes and wards. At the same time, promote the application of technology, digital transformation, administrative reform, improve the satisfaction of people and businesses in the justice sector to synchronize with the overall development of the city and the whole country in the coming time.

Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai suggested that the judiciary continue to simplify administrative procedures, promote the application of information technology, build e-government associated with the provision of online public services throughout the process towards professionalism, modernity, openness and transparency to effectively serve people and businesses, contributing to ensuring the civil rights of citizens.
