Regarding the factors that contributed to the drama's widespread popularity, Kim Hye Yoon emphasized, "I believe that the biggest appeal of Lovely Runner lies in the story of mutual rescue. When asked if there was a scene she would like to re-enact if given the chance, Kim Hye Yoon humbly said, “I am rarely satisfied with my acting. Personally, I regret every scene. But I believe I would act the same way even if I could do it again.
