Amazed by the 500,000-year-old prehistoric city that was just excavated

Scientists have discovered traces of large-scale ancient human habitation at Jaljulia, a prehistoric “hidden paradise”.

"This discovery is amazing because of the state of preservation of the artifacts and their significance in helping us understand this ancient material culture," said Maayan Shemer of the Israel Antiquities Authority.
