Leveraging its role as a unit directly providing essential public services at the grassroots level, the Quynh Nhai Commune Comprehensive Service Center has implemented many activities to support people in developing production, transferring technology, improving the effectiveness of communication, culture, and the environment, thereby enhancing the material and spiritual lives of the people and contributing to the successful achievement of the local development goals.

Quynh Nhai commune has 41 villages and sub-districts with over 6,590 households, a large geographical area, and an unevenly distributed population. The commune's General Service Center has focused on implementing agricultural and forestry extension work, preventing and controlling plant and animal diseases, managing the quality of agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products, and carrying out tasks related to culture, sports , tourism, and information and communication. Since its establishment and operation in November 2025, the Center has conducted 96 surveys of plant pests and diseases and coordinated the safe vaccination of 1,411 doses of vaccine for livestock.

Taking advantage of the large surface area of ​​the Son La hydroelectric reservoir, farmers in Quynh Nhai commune have developed cage fish farming with nearly 4,000 cages. Working alongside the local people, the staff of the Center closely monitors the area, disseminating information and guiding people in selecting high-quality and economically valuable fish breeds; proactively preventing and controlling fish diseases; and coordinating training and technology transfer for households to improve the quality and yield of aquatic products.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, an official in charge of agricultural services and extension at the Center, said: "Previously, people often raised fish based on experience, with excessively high stocking densities or unscientific feed management, leading to low efficiency. We have conducted on-site inspections and surveys, guiding farmers on scientific farming and care techniques, disease control, and helping to improve the quality of the farmed fish."

Visiting the cage fish farming model of Mr. Lo Van Binh in Dan Dam village, Mr. Binh happily said, "Thanks to participating in the training sessions organized by the Center, I have learned a lot of knowledge about how to prevent fish diseases, how to mix feed, and how to manage the water environment. The staff also regularly come down to the cages to check and provide direct support whenever the fish get sick, so I feel very secure. This year's fish harvest is expected to reach over 15 tons, bringing in an income of 400-450 million VND for my family."

In addition to supporting economic development, the Center also plays a crucial role as an information bridge at the grassroots level. Embracing the trend of digital transformation and the strengths of social media, the commune's propaganda work has been modernized to be more dynamic and visual. Important content such as legal information, weather warnings, and introductions to economic models are regularly updated on local social media platforms. Despite being newly established, the Commune's Comprehensive Service Center has actively implemented visual propaganda with 18 sets of billboards, 5 inflatable arches, nearly 700 m² of ceremonial decorations, the installation of over 2,200 flags of various types, 2,100 m of string flags, nearly 800 banners, and the operation of 37 mobile information vehicles; producing 356 bilingual radio programs (standard Vietnamese - Thai) with 2,439 news items and articles. The center coordinated the production of 25 television news reports and promoted information on social media with nearly 190 pieces of content. Mr. Dang Anh Dat, Director of the General Service Center of Quynh Nhai commune, shared: "In the coming time, along with promptly disseminating the province's socio-economic development policies to the people, we plan to expand more in-depth technical training courses according to the actual needs of each village, focusing on key crops and livestock; and promote the application of digital technology to promote tourism and help people sell their agricultural products."
