The mother is Mang Xon, born in 2000, residing in Noong Ma village, Bua La Pha district, Kham Muon province (Laos). This is the mother's fifth birth. Due to limited medical conditions in Noong Ma village, when she showed signs of abnormal labor, her relatives took her to Thuong Trach Commune Health Station, the nearest medical facility in Vietnam, for examination. After examination, Thuong Trach commune health staff determined that the mother was in poor health and had an unstable fetal heart rate, so they decided to transfer her to a higher facility. However, during the transfer, the mother suddenly went into labor and gave birth. The staff and medical staff of Thuong Trach Commune Health Station quickly handled the situation and successfully delivered the baby. Currently, both mother and baby are healthy and are being cared for and monitored at the commune health station. Thuong Trach commune authorities visited and supported the mother and commended the sense of responsibility and timely response of the commune health staff.
Previously, in December 2024, Noong Ma village cluster, Bua La Pha district, Kham Muon province and Thuong Trach commune, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province (old) now Thuong Trach commune, Quang Tri province organized the signing of a border residential cluster agreement. Thereby, creating favorable conditions for connecting, supporting and helping each other between the people on both sides of the border in environmental protection, economic, cultural and social development, contributing to building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and developed border.
