On the afternoon of October 15, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man co-chaired a meeting on several key contents in preparation for the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly.
This is the final session of the 15th National Assembly , deciding on the largest volume of legislation ever. The session is of special importance to evaluate and summarize the term, decide on major national issues and lay the foundation for a new stage of development.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that the National Assembly and the Government have coordinated early and remotely to prepare for the 10th session. The contents submitted by the Government were examined with great responsibility by the National Assembly agencies in continuous meetings. The National Assembly Chairman requested that the Government agencies promptly submit the remaining contents with complete, thorough, and quality documents and records.
Stating that the 10th session will take place for about 40 days and may be longer, the two sides agreed to arrange a scientific and rigorous meeting program.
The National Assembly Chairman suggested continuing to determine progress and clearly identify those responsible for the contents of the session; focusing on priorities, avoiding spreading out discussions in groups and in the hall; acceptance and explanation must be clear.
Besides, according to the National Assembly Chairman, it is necessary to increase discussion, criticism, and multi-dimensional listening to absorb and explain to ensure accuracy, persuasion, and quality, especially on issues where there are different opinions.
On the other hand, the National Assembly Chairman proposed to increase digitalization, apply technology and artificial intelligence, enhance transparency, build a digital National Assembly, and move towards a smart National Assembly.

According to the National Assembly Chairman, the 15th National Assembly has successfully completed 9 extraordinary sessions, 9 regular sessions and the 10th session is the last session of the 15th National Assembly. The National Assembly Chairman believes that this will continue to be a historic session, and will be successful with the coordination, joint efforts, unanimity, and shared responsibility between the National Assembly and the Government.
On the Government's side, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh respectfully thanked the National Assembly and its agencies for always accompanying, sharing, creating all conditions, and closely coordinating with the Government in considering and approving important mechanisms and policies to remove bottlenecks, unblock resources, and promote socio-economic development.
According to the Prime Minister, recently, the National Assembly and the Government have completed a large amount of work with very high requirements.
The Prime Minister requested ministers, heads of agencies in charge of building dossiers and documents, and Deputy Prime Ministers in charge to strengthen inspection and urge agencies to promptly complete dossiers, and proactively coordinate with agencies of the National Assembly.

The Government leader also noted that agencies need to urgently and promptly institutionalize the new Resolutions of the Politburo to promote the fastest effectiveness.
In particular, the Prime Minister requested that Government leaders and ministers fully participate in meetings, exchange, explain, and provide information and documents to National Assembly deputies and National Assembly delegations on issues of concern to deputies and public opinion in their respective fields.
Ministers and heads of agencies assigned to represent the Government in presenting reports, explanations, and receiving opinions from National Assembly deputies but absent from the session due to accompanying Party and State leaders on business trips must report to the Prime Minister to assign a replacement, and promptly inform and report back to the National Assembly.
The 10th session of the 15th National Assembly, taking place from October 20 to December 12, will consider and decide on 66 contents and groups of contents.
Including 50 laws, 3 resolutions on legislative work, 13 groups of contents on socio-economics, state budget, supervision and decision on other important issues of the country.
