In 2024, the People's Council of An Khe town performed well its functions, tasks and powers according to the provisions of law and the set programs and plans. The activities of the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the People's Council Committees, the delegations and the People's Council delegates were carried out regularly, in accordance with the prescribed order, with many positive changes.
The town has implemented many solutions to promote socio -economic development and achieved many positive results. The total production value in 2024 (at current prices) is estimated at VND 22,011 billion, equal to 100.07% of the plan; budget revenue reached VND 119,992 billion, equal to 81.69% of the assigned estimate; there are 7 non-state budget investment projects that have been approved by competent authorities. An Khe town ranked 3rd out of 17 districts, towns and cities in terms of the competitiveness index at the district, town and city level of Gia Lai province in 2023.
The material and spiritual life of the people continues to improve, social security policies are ensured; school and classroom facilities continue to be invested in; the quality of medical examination and treatment for the people is improved. Military conscription work has achieved 100% of assigned tasks. Political security and social order and safety are maintained.
The meeting reviewed reports of the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the People's Committee of An Khe town and relevant functional agencies according to the law.
At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing in depth key issues of concern to voters such as reviewing and replacing dead trees on some roads to ensure uniformity and urban aesthetics; assigning regular expenditure estimates to communes and wards to ensure expenditure tasks; supplementing works and projects on paving sidewalks, building drainage systems, and planting trees on some inner-city roads; the town considering supplementing investment funds to build working offices of the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Tu An commune...
The meeting passed 9 important resolutions . This is the basis for the District People's Committee to direct the organization and implementation to successfully complete the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution on socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in 2025.
