
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Manh Hung, Head of the Customs Branch of Region IV, said: Currently, in the management area of the Branch, there are 44 industrial parks, 8 bonded warehouses, 2 dry ports, with over 4,600 enterprises regularly engaged in import and export activities, including many FDI enterprises and large manufacturing enterprises in key industrial sectors. In the first 9 months of 2025, the Branch has processed 1.1 million customs declarations, with a total import and export turnover of 56.75 billion USD - one of the top units in the Customs sector.

Recently, the Customs Branch of Region IV has focused on improving the effectiveness of risk management with the Yellow channel rate reduced to 25.53%, the Green channel reaching over 72.47%, contributing to reducing customs clearance time and saving costs for businesses. Notably, in addition to closely following the direction of the Customs Department, the leaders of the Branch have directed the promotion of digital transformation to facilitate the business community. In particular, in 2025, the Department will start deploying the Zalo Official Account (Zalo OA) application, integrating an automatic chatbot system, helping businesses quickly look up information on customs procedures, policies, and forms; schedule work, contact online support with responsible officials...
Regarding the Program to support and encourage enterprises to voluntarily comply with Customs laws, this is one of the major policies of the Customs sector and is specified by Decision 2790/QD-TCHQ dated December 4, 2024 of the General Director of the General Department of Customs (now the Customs Department). Participation in the Program first of all brings benefits to the business community; at the same time, it improves the management efficiency of Customs agencies and State management agencies, creates a healthy business environment, and enhances national competitiveness.
The leaders of the Customs Branch IV requested enterprises to closely coordinate with the Customs agency to assess the current compliance status; identify causes and factors affecting the compliance level; develop a specific roadmap and improvement plan, aiming to upgrade the compliance level sustainably.
At the conference, the Head of the Customs Branch of Region IV signed the minutes of participation in the Program with leaders of 17 enterprises.
Business representatives hope to continue to receive the companionship and support of the Customs Branch of Region IV. At the same time, they expressed their determination to comply with Customs laws and properly implement the contents and requirements of the Program.
