- On the evening of June 27, the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Lang Son Province (Vietnam) and the National Cave Society of the United States (NSS) held an online signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the cave sector.

Accordingly, the two sides agreed to cooperate on 7 main contents including: promoting the values, routes, and tourist destinations of the UNESCO Lang Son Global Geopark and NSS's cave exploration activities; cooperating in consulting on policies, mechanisms, projects, strategies, plans and action programs in the field of cave conservation and promotion; cooperating in cave conservation, developing cave exploration tourism products, contributing to diversifying tourism types of the UNESCO Lang Son Global Geopark, mapping some caves in the Geopark; cooperating in training and improving the quality of human resources in the field of cave conservation, tourism and rescue at the UNESCO Lang Son Global Geopark; introducing US cave explorers to explore caves at the UNESCO Lang Son Global Geopark; Cooperate in organizing working programs, conferences, seminars, forums on cave exploration and cave tourism; connect and attract cave associations, cave explorers, businesses, investors to Lang Son UNESCO Global Geopark.

Leaders of the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Lang Son province signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Cave Association (USA) online.

The signing ceremony aims to promote international cooperation, enhance the capacity to preserve and sustainably exploit the province's unique geological values. This is also an important step in promoting the image of Lang Son UNESCO Global Geopark, opening up opportunities to develop international adventure tourism, thereby contributing to diversifying tourism products and creating momentum for socio -economic development for Lang Son province in the coming time.
