Celebrating Vietnam Social Work Day

On the morning of March 25, the Department of Health held a ceremony to celebrate the 9th Vietnam Social Work Day in 2025 to honor the noble values, humanistic significance, and recognize the role and contributions of social workers in participating in solving problems of individuals, families, communities and society.

At the ceremony, delegates watched a video clip recording social work activities at medical facilities in the province; shared experiences in implementing social assistance and providing social work services at hospitals and medical facilities.

Leaders of the Department of Health presented flowers and recognized the contributions of groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in social work.

This is an opportunity to express gratitude to the team of social workers who contribute to raising public awareness of the importance of social work in the health system. Thereby, promoting the development of the industry in a more professional and effective direction, bringing many practical benefits to patients and society.

On this occasion, the Department of Health presented flowers and recognized the contributions of 28 groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in social work, contributing to supporting patients and the community.
