High School Graduation Exam 2024: Da Nang has 28 official testing locations

The 2024 high school graduation exam will have 5 exams including: 3 independent exams: Math, Literature, Foreign Language, 1 combined exam of Natural Sciences (KHTN) including the components of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and 1 combined exam of Social Sciences (KHXH) including the components of History, Geography, CivicEducation (for candidates studying the general education program at high school level) or the components of History, Geography (for candidates studying the continuing education program at high school level).

To be considered for high school graduation recognition, candidates studying the high school education program must take 4 exams, including 3 independent exams: Math, Literature, Foreign Language and 1 combined exam of the candidate's choice; candidates studying the GDTX program must take 3 exams, including 2 independent exams: Math, Literature and 1 combined exam of the candidate's choice, and can register to take an additional Foreign Language exam to get the admission results.

Candidates who have graduated from high school and have a secondary school diploma can register to take independent exams, combined exams or component subjects in the same combined exam.

Regarding the exam format, for Math, Foreign Language, Natural Science and Social Science exams, candidates will take multiple choice tests. Only Literature will be tested in essay format.

The 2024 high school graduation exam will be held on June 26, 27, 28, and 29, 2024. On June 26, candidates will complete exam registration procedures. On June 27 and 28, candidates will take the high school graduation exam. June 29 will be the backup exam date. Specifically, the 2024 high school graduation exam schedule is as follows:

The 2024 high school graduation exam organization process stipulates that at the exam site, the Head of the exam site and Deputy Head of the exam site do not belong to the same unit; each exam room must have two exam invigilators from two different units.

Each examination room supervisor shall supervise no more than 3 examination rooms in the same examination room block. An examination room supervisor shall not supervise an examination more than once in an examination room during the Examination; The Head of the examination site, Deputy Head of the examination site (not in charge of facilities); examination room supervisors and examination room supervisors shall not be on duty at examination sites where their unit's 12th grade students are taking the exam.

The Examination Boards will organize the examination at Phan Chau Trinh High School from June 29, 2024 and complete the examination before July 14, 2024. The Examination Council will announce the examination results at 8:00 a.m. on July 17, 2024.

The Department of Education and Training will complete the preliminary high school graduation recognition by July 19, 2024 at the latest. The issuance of temporary high school graduation certificates, return of transcripts and certificates (originals, if any) to candidates at the exam registration units will be no later than July 23, 2024.

The examination council will print and send the exam result certificates to candidates no later than July 23, 2024.

Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh, Head of the Exam Steering Committee, comprehensively directed all activities of preparation and organization of the Exam in accordance with the provisions of the exam regulations; directed and inspected relevant departments, branches, organizations and educational institutions in the area to coordinate, support and ensure necessary conditions for the activities of the exam council in organizing the Exam.

At the same time, review and report to the national steering committee on the exam organization situation, the implementation of exam regulations in the locality and propose handling of situations that occur during the organization of the exam; implement relevant decisions and directions of the national steering committee.

The Director of the Department of Education and Training decides to establish the Examination Council and the Examination Council's Committees to manage the exam, including: Secretariat, Exam Printing Committee, Exam Transport and Delivery Committee, Exam Invigilation Committee, Essay Exam Marking Committee, Multiple-choice Exam Marking Committee, Essay Exam Review Committee, Multiple-choice Exam Review Committee.
